Hello reader. I'm going to be taking part in this 'handmade' day in Tumbridge Wells real soon. As I've run out of 'Contagious' , plus I kind of saw that venture as a practice run anyway, I had better get really started on a mini comic. I have a lot of ideas, I've just been floundering. Uhh yeah, so cometh if you can I'll be on it for drawing days three and four of 'Day One' written by Clare 'Foh Sho' Lowe as soon as she types up the writing and sends it, with love, through the pornographic minefield that is cyberspace.

Resurrection

I unearthed a whole load of wank from my old room ( here is a small sample). I seem to have kept loads of old secondary school journals covered n embarrassing doodles comics and writing. I may resurrect an old character called 'Polly Wolly Doodle', possibly for my blackbird story that i've been mulling over. I am resisting putting it up as it is so excruciatingly adolescent. But ahwell, maybe I will anyway for a good larf. I'm now gonna go back to drowning in the mess that is my old room/ family dump.

Pop Surrealist exht.

I enjoyed a lot of this exhibition. I particularly liked seeing Ray Caesar's ( as featured here- 'Love Letters')computer generated (Maya) pictures. The skin upclose is lickable. I also liked a lot of the more traditional aesthetics of some of the more painterly pieces like Korin Faught's 'Bonnet', infused with contemporary pop culture. It broke up the obvious choices nicely methought. It's on till August in the museum up the top of Park Street.
